A special MOQ applies to new custom mould production. However, if the client is willing to cover the cost of making the mould themselves, this MOQ requirement does not apply. For TPR mold sheets, SMID provides free production with a minimum order of 5,000 pairs.

SMID does not currently export directly, however a number of SMID outsole products are already used on footwear by clients who export their products abroad.
The custom mould process — starting from scanning/initial design, 3D-printed prototyping, through to CNC finishing — takes approximately 1 to 6 months depending on the number of design revisions required.
SMID produces outsoles using TPR (Thermo Plastic Rubber), Light TPR, PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride), and Light PVC, according to the weight, flexibility, and durability requirements of the product.
