About SMID

Since 2000, PT Soles Multi Idea has been producing outsoles for national and multinational brands with big capacity.
The outsole manufacturing process is supported by our professional team, and special lab to test the durability of incoming materials including, Tensile Strength, Elongation, Abration, Specific Grafity, Melt Flow Index and Flex Crack Test.

The use of modern technology such as Italian Static Machine, Taiwan Rotary Machine and the choice of quality raw materials, namely; TPR (Thermo Plastic Rubber), TC (Thermo Cell), PVC (Polyvinyl Chrolide) and Phylon are some of our advantages.

Process of Making

Step 1 – Design & Preparation

Making several designs and outsole patterns for our clients to choose.
Step 2 – Prototype Making

The approved prototype will be prepared for printing using a method that matches the outsole material.
Step 3 – Molding Preparation

The approved prototype will be prepared for printing using a method that matches the outsole material.
Step 4 – Sampling

Sample making based on colors, materials & patterns that have been approved by the client.
Step 5 – Molding Series

Molding making process per series according to the shoe size.
Step 6 – Production

At the production proccess, the outsole will be printed using modern technology, namely the Italian Static Machine and Taiwan Rotary Machine.
Step 7 – Finishing

Giving color patterns as a finishing touch for the sole. This activity requires detailed attention so that each sole has the characteristics according to the client's request.
Step 8 – Quality control

Comprehensive quality control to ensure good quality outsole.
Step 9 – Shipping

On time delivery process according to client’s needs to all regions in and outside of Indonesia.
